Silver Dollar City! Open on March 15, it’s Branson’s centerpiece attraction...a stunningly beautiful, multi-award-winning 1880s-style theme park that’s been repeatedly recognized for excellence on an international scale. Known for its incredible festivals, SDC kicks off their event schedule with the Festival of Wonder, showcasing “fantastical acts of curiosity.” You’ll enjoy William Close & The Earth Harp Collective, the world’s longest playable stringed instrument - it stretches the entire length of Red Gold Heritage Hall. You may remember William Close when he won a slot as a finalist on the popular television show, America’s Got Talent! Also appearing is the spectacular footwork and acrobatic artistry of the seven Flamenco Kings, speed painter Dan Dunn, Balancing Wonders, and so much more in this creative collection of larger-than-life performances! You’ll find fantastic new foods that range from gourmet grilled cheese and curious kabobs, to flatbread creations and fabulous fry breads. This brilliant new festival may just take the cake when it comes to magnificently magical events!
Titanic Museum Attraction! Branson’s Titanic is not only open, it’s busy celebrating the Emerald Isle! All during March, Titanic pays tribute to the 159 Irish passengers and crew that were aboard the ship, and pays homage to the place where the ship was built - Belfast, Ireland. And get ready for a huge event at Titanic -- original costumes from the movie, released 20 years ago, will be on display from March 12 through June 11! This epic film won an astonishing 11 Academy Awards, and remains one of the most iconic movies ever made. The movie is being re-released to theaters in 2017 to celebrate its 20th Anniversary. Few films will ever achieve such a legendary status, one where a milestone anniversary is marked by a re-release, and getting an up-close look at costumes that were instrumental to the film’s success is a truly special event shouldn’t be missed!
