Discover What’s New in Branson, Missouri for 2017!

Every year brings new shows to Branson, and the tradition continues in 2017!  Here are some fabulous new shows you’ve just gotta see:

  • Raiding the Rock Vault is raiding the Branson stage at the Starlite Theatre for a limited engagement in July.  An incredible lineup of rock’s best musicians take you on an amazing 30-year musical journey that includes arena-scale anthems, rock ballads, headbangers, and more!

  • Broadway’s Greatest Hits leaves London for Branson!  Showcasing the best musicals from the last 50 years, it's ready to sing and dance its way into your heart with a taste of Chorus Line, Cabaret, Cats, 42nd Street, Oklahoma, My Fair Lady, Les Miserables, Hairspray, and the Phantom of the Opera.

  • Andy Williams Christmas Extravaganza Starring The 5th Dimension joins the holiday lineup.  Jimmy Osmond, Charlie Green, Illusionist Rick Thomas, and Steve Hewlett join The 5th Dimension, giving the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center & Theatre two huge Christmas shows!  This multi-Grammy Award-winning group had scores of hits, including “Up, Up and Away,” “Never My Love,” and “Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In.”

  • The phenomenal, multi-talented artist who wowed crowds on the Showboat Branson Belle, and in theaters across the country, headlines her own show at the Americana Theater in Janice Martin’s Aerial & Musical Variety Show!

  • Oh Happy Day: Goin’ Back to Gospel gives you a show full of great music, inspiration, and lots of laughter!  Featuring a fabulous cast of seasoned vocalists and comedians, and a live band of both familiar musicians and fresh faces, it’s an incredible line-up that delivers the gospel goods big time!  

  • Lots of fun changes are in store for God & Country Theatres this year, including these new shows:  

    • The Temptations - Motown Legends is a Branson showcase of soulful songs, impeccable harmonies, and smooth dance moves!  Get the best of The Temptations, other Motown greats, like the Four Tops, and 60's/70's soul acts like The Chi-Lites and The Delfonics.

    • Ozark Bluegrass Jubilee is a dose of down-to-earth mountain music!  Enjoy the sweet sounds of foot-tappin’ songs from the music of Earl Scruggs, Lester Flatt, Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, The Civil Wars, Ricky Skaggs, Alison Krauss, and more!

    • Stingray’s Jukebox Rock stars the incomparable Stingray Anthony in a brilliant tribute to the genre’s earliest icons!  This dynamic show honors rock 'n' roll pioneers like Elvis Presley, Ricky Nelson, and Bobby Darin, and an impressive list of other 50's and 60’s artists.

    • Disco Inferno - Stayin’ Alive has blasted open the 70’s music vault!  The age of irresistible dance beats is back with a Branson bang! You’ll be dancing along to the hits of Earth, Wind & Fire, KC and The Sunshine Band, Gloria Gaynor, Donna Summer, the Bee Gees, and more!

    • Cash Alive! The Legend preserves the music and our memories of the Man in Black!  No country artist has ever danced back and forth across the music genre lines quite like Johnny Cash; hear Paul Eve channel him on all your favorites, including “Ring of Fire,” and “Folsom Prison Blues.”

    • 50 Years of Kenny Rogers gives Branson a delightful dose of the country superstar’s massive music catalog!  Rogers’ hits are performed to pure perfection by Brother South and Heather Gentry, including “Lucille,” “She Believes In Me,” “Lady”,  and “The Gambler.”

    • The 3 Dog Night & Friends Tribute show is rockin' out! This fabulous line-up of seasoned Branson musicians expertly deliver the big hits, including songs like “Joy to the World,” “Celebrate,” “Eli’s Coming,” and “One.” You’ll also hear the music of rockers like Bob Seger and Joe Cocker.

In addition to all these fantastic new productions, here are the new shows previously announced:

  • Showboat Branson Belle introduces “Country on the Lake!”  This noon-time show features different genres of music in a concert cruise format.  Enjoy rising country stars, backed by a live band, performing songs that range from classic rock to current country favorites, as well as tributes to country stars of the 90’s, like Garth Brooks and Faith Hill.  

  • The Miracle of Christmas returns to Sight & Sound Theatres of Branson!  The popular holiday show makes a comeback in 2017, much to the delight of everyone who loves the true story of Christmas.  Miracle of Christmas will run from November 4 through December 30.
