Branson's Famous Baldknobbers isn't just a staple in a long list of great shows, it’s the show that put live entertainment in Branson on the map! Borrowing their name from the group of vigilante lawmen who ran rampant in the Ozarks during the late 1800s, these incredible entertainers are always refreshing the show’s music and comedy from year to year. Delivering a high-energy performance night after night, the cast includes second and third generations of the family that “started it all” back in 1959.
It has always been about country music for the Baldknobbers, but they make sure to include contemporary hits, as well as the always popular classic country, on their playlist. With a musical style that followed in the footsteps of the famous Ozark Jubilee, a popular program broadcast to a national audience from Springfield, Missouri, the Mabe brothers started their musical careers near the downtown Branson lakefront. They played to happy audiences in an old building that housed a variety of things over the years, but soon outgrew the limited space and followed the Presleys, Branson’s other founding family of entertainment, to Highway 76. These shows started what would soon become the world famous "Strip," filled with live entertainment, attractions, shopping, and dining.
Branson's Famous Baldknobbers are so incredibly iconic that their original costumes, instruments, and other artifacts can be found on display at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History!

We went April 12, 2021. We absolutely loved it!! Ashley P. Sounded just like Trisha Yearwood,Megan was great, All were great!!we will definitely be back!! Even Christy in at the gift shop was awesome,she made us feel like she was our best friend..we had to drop back in to tell her bye afterwards

YEARLY TRIP to Come see Baldknobbers
We come up Every year and we Always get tickets because we LOVE the show. It is Always a lot of Laughs as well as some Great Music. A MUST SEE when you come to Branson...Infact we will be back in Branson on Aug. 30th an have tickets reserved for August 31st.

The show that started it all
I was told that this show was one of the first shows to perform in Branson and it amazed me to see that even now it was one of the best shows our family went to! hilarious comedy and good music.

AFTER ALL THESE YEARS STILL ONE OF THE BEST
The last time I seen this show was a decade ago. It is still just as good as I remembered. When I was born in 1982 I almost died due to health problems. One of the originals decided he would put on a charity show to help my parents pay for the hospital bills. I owe a lot of respect to the Mabe family for that! Their kind hearts are not all that is amazing about them. Their music, their voices and their comedy is top notch. You must see why this family has been a show in Branson for so many generations! Do not miss out!

Congratulations
Happy belated birthday do Hargus Marcell, and many, many, more. Hargus and I go way back. He is one fine entertainer, and the Baldknobbers are very lucky to have him. Continued success, and hope to catch your show again. It was the one that started it all.

Good show
I was a little disappointed only because of all the hype. I had wished they would advertise that they play quite a bit of country rock as I never would have taken my companions. They had expected more classic (traditional) country. It was so loud that I wore ear plugs and one of my companions too out their hearing aids. I personally enjoyed the music but found the comedy routines too drawn out. Enjoyed the Christian music very much.

Delightful surprise!
This was our first time seeing the Baldnobbers and we enjoyed the music! The piano player was amazing and we enjoyed the comedians! We would have loved to have seen them on the stage more often! This is a great show for the entire family and well worth the ticket cost!

Awesome
I have heard of the Baldknobbers for years but no one could adequately describe how fantastic the show was. Hope to catch another performance in the future. My wife and I were blown away by the tribute to veterans. We highly recommend this show for the entire family

My husband and another couple came from Virginia and saw your show on 6/19. We all loved the performances of everyone. I was amazed with the piano player. Best of all I was touched and had chills at times listening to the spiritual songs. Well done! We would definitively watch this again.

Still our favorite after all these years! Incredibly funny.
We have been enjoying the Mabe family perform in Branson for many years. My dad first introduced us to the BAldknobbers. We are from Iowa and make a trip to Branson every year. I would implore anyone visiting Branson to se the Baldknobbers. They are so talented. The comedy is very clean and funny. We usually see them once per year. They recently had a tv show called Branson Famous. It was a lot of fun to watch and I hope the have another season. We will be back!!
