Branson’s Legends in Concert...it wears the biggest crown in the kingdom of tribute shows! Legends searches far and wide to bring fans the very best entertainers, those who can deliver the voice, the look, the personality of their favorite artists to the stage, especially those cast to channel dearly loved and sadly missed performers, offering an authentic opportunity to relive the magic of the world’s most famous names. Throughout the many seasons Branson has to offer, Legends’ performances include mainstays, The Blues Brothers™ and Elvis Presley, adding two to three additional acts to give us unforgettable shows day after day! Showcased at fun Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater, a treasured landmark on Branson’s famous Strip - Highway 76 - Legends continues to be one of the show community’s most popular tickets. May 23 through 31, in Branson, you can catch The Blues Brothers™, portrayed by seasoned pros, Clint Nievar (Jake) and Danny Zeligman (Elwood,) and Elvis, courtesy of world champion Elvis impersonator, Ryan Pelton. You’ll also be treated to the unforgettable Donna Summer, brilliantly portrayed by Rainere Martin, who gave us hits like “Hot Stuff” and “On the Radio,” and country superstar, Alan Jackson, a.k.a. Doug Brewin, who gave us “Chattahoochee” and “Chasin’ that Neon Rainbow,” and scores of other hits. The country outlaw, the man in black, Johnny Cash rounds out the season. (Through May 21, the current season, you can catch The Blues Brothers™, Elvis, Donna Summer, Bruno Mars, and Kenny Chesney.) June 1 through July 31 replaces Donna Summer with an incredible artist, Kate Steele, a seasoned performer who’s been a supporting singer and dancer for Legends for years, she steps into the spotlight as Lady Gaga.
August 1 through September 3, the one female performer in the lineup goes from Gaga to 80s rock goddess, Pat Benatar (Stacey Whitton Summers,) the high-energy artist who gave us “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Heartbreaker,” and “Love is a Battlefield,” among other rock hits. From September 5 through October 31, Elvis and The Blues Brothers™ are joined by an uncanny ringer for Marilyn Monroe, which means the talented Stacey Whitton Summers returns as an entirely different artist, and the soulful sounds of Motown’s iconic group, The Temptations, shared by the incredible Temptations Revue. They had a long list of hits for the Detroit record label, including “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination,” and “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg.” The last season for Legends in 2019 begins November 1 and runs through January 1, and our mainstays are joined by Trisha Yearwood, the country singer who hit the charts with songs like “She’s in Love With the Boy,” and “Walk Away Joe,” and Yearwood’s significant other, Garth Brooks, capably handled by Shawn Gerhard. Stevie Wonder, brought to the stage by Billy Buchanon, rounds out the schedule - Stevie owns a huge catalog of hits, including “I Wish,” “Sir Duke,” and the hot song with one of the best instrumental intros ever recorded, “Superstition.”
