Best of Branson - Week of March 11, 2018

What We Love In Branson This Week!

Hello from beautiful Branson, Missouri!  We hope you enjoy this first in a weekly series that shares what we’re lovin’ in Branson each week.  We’ll be telling you about shows, attractions, events, and other special happenings that are catching our attention throughout the week.  We won’t be posting a bunch of weeks in advance; the series will truly be based on what’s top-of-mind each coming week, so make sure you “tune in” every Sunday!

Here, in alphabetical order, is What We Love in Branson This Week:

AYO - Voices of Glory:  The unforgettable Cole siblings the country fell in love with on America’s Got Talent!

3 Reasons Why We Love AYO - Voices of Glory:

1.  Their story!  We’ll never forget how their career began at their comatose mother’s bedside - they serenaded her as she struggled to recover from a near-death car accident.

2.   Nadia!  Oh, that voice!  It’s pure joy to hear her sing anything, but especially when she channels Whitney Houston!

3.   Sibling togetherness!  Any one of them - Nadia, Michael, or Avery - could easily pursue solo careers, but it’s the three of them together that makes for one phenomenal act!

Schedule this week:  Monday, March 12 - Wednesday, March 14 - Friday, March 16 - all shows at 2:00 p.m.

Venue:  Andy Williams Performing Arts Center & Theatre

Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers:  They were Branson fan favorites long before they graced your TV screen in their own reality show!

3 Reasons Why We Love Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers:

1.  They’re #1!  The Mabe family was the first to have a show in Branson!

2.  The music!  They never fail to delight us with great country and gospel music.

3.  They own the funny!  This show is flat-out, laugh-out-loud funny - you’ve gotta check out Droopy Drawers Jr!

2.  Familiar opera!  You don’t have to be a big fan of opera to love hearing the aria “Nessun Dorma.”

3 Reasons Why We Love New Jersey Nights:

1.  The Four Seasons!  Whether you loved them growing up, or their career kicked-off before your time as a teenager, everyone knows and loves a Four Seasons song, or two, or four, or more!

2.  The choreography!  The same touring production that blew up box office records everywhere, the dancing dazzles nearly as much as the music!

3.  What a catalog of music!  Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons blessed us with brilliant pop in the 60s, like  “Rag Doll,” “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “Walk Like a Man,”and dynamite disco in the 70s, including “December ‘63 (Oh, What a Night.)”
