This New Year’s Eve show will be packed with music that inspired today’s blockbuster country artists and nearly every rising star in the industry. Bill Anderson is a prolific country music poet who’s been named the top songwriter by a variety of associations, writing or co-writing songs recorded by the likes of Aretha Franklin, Kenny Chesney, Alison Krauss, Dean Martin, George Strait, and Brad Paisley, among many others. He’s also been honored as Male Vocalist of the Year, and enjoyed several #1 hits, including “World of Make Believe,” “For Loving You,” “I Get the Fever,” and “Mama Sang a Song.”
Anderson brings along a few of his most talented friends, each a significant contributor to the world of country music. Moe Bandy, a Branson headliner for many years, enjoyed hits like “Americana” and “Bandy the Rodeo Clown,” as well as a #1 hit with friend, Joe Stampley, “Just Good Ol’ Boys.” Janie Fricke’s resume boasts a string of #1 country hits, including “He’s A Heartache (Looking for a Place to Happen,)” “It Ain’t Easy Bein’ Easy,” and “Tell Me a Lie.” She earned three Grammy nominations for Best Female Country Vocal Performance, and received the top female country vocalist honors from organizations like the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards and Music City News.
Bill Anderson also welcomes T.G. Sheppard; he boasts an amazing list of country chart toppers, including “Faking Love,” “I Loved ‘Em Every One,” “Do You Wanna Go to Heaven,” “Devil in the Bottle,” and “Last Cheater’s Waltz.” He’s been named Best New Male Artist, been a long-time spokesman for Folgers’ NASCAR racing team, and supported a long list of charities. Jeannie Seely had a huge hit with “Don’t Touch Me,” a song that made her the proud owner of a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. She's received several CMA nominations for her recordings with Jack Greene, and made a name for herself as an actor, showing up in films like Best LIttle Whorehouse in Texas and Changing Hearts. Wrapping up the impressive roster for this sensational concert appearance in Branson is the twin sister act, Moore & Moore.
