Branson’s Cash Alive! The Legend preserves the music and our memories of the Man in Black!  No country artist has ever danced back and forth across the music genre lines quite as well as Johnny Cash.  First and foremost, he’s remembered as a country singer, but his unique rockabilly singing style and country outlaw image has always connected to fans of the blues, rock & roll, and bluegrass, too.  Channelled on the Branson stage by Johnny look-alike, Paul Eve, the songs of Johnny Cash come back to life in all their glory!  You’ll be delighted to hear all your favorites, including “Ring of Fire,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “I’ve Been Everywhere,” “I Walk the Line,” and the toe-tapping brilliance of “Jackson,” the hit he sang with his gutsy wife, June Carter Cash, the talented lady born to American folk music royalty - The Carter Family.  With his incredible, slightly gruff and soulful voice, carefully selected visuals and, of course, those famous black outfits, Paul Eve delivers a Cash concert that’ll have you believing the Man in Black is back!

Helpful Hints/Additional Information

He’s easily one of the most popular entertainers who ever lived, and he left behind a massive catalog of phenomenal music, allowing new fans to discover Johnny Cash every day.  He’ll always be known as the country music outlaw -- the Man in Black -- but he was mostly just one heck of a talented singer, and you can hear his magnificence once again in Cash Alive! The Legend!

"The Man in Black"

Rating of 4 stars  Reviewed September 5, 2017
Paul Eve does a fine job of channeling Johnny Cash in both his appearance and dhis voice. The songs are the best part of the show, but the stories of Cash's life are also interesting (stories of Eve's career less so....). Worth seeing if you are a Johnny Cash fan.

"Ok....not great"

Rating of 2 stars  Reviewed July 13, 2017
This one man show was just "ok". Not special in any way. The performer sings fine and represented Johnny Cash's voice though the story telling left a lot to be desired. Too much of it and to get names wrong (Joan vs June) was disappointing. Also, was not interested in hearing the performers history and his "hopeful" future plans for entertaining/movie acting. This act is better served for a 3 or 4 song performance on the Legends in Concert stage, not a one man act.

When I called, Derrick answered my call and proceeded to tell me a bit of what they could do to help my wife, son, and me on a short vacation in Branson, also mentioning a company that could assist in getting out of an unwanted time share. As time share owners in Florida, Derrick was able to find us three exceptional shows at greatly reduced prices. When we attended the shows, the seating at each one was excellent and we were blessed and thrilled with their uniqueness and quality.
