Nathan Carter Adds the Branson Music Festival to his American Tour!

Nathan Carter, Ireland’s top country music star, and a favorite young artist around the world, has added to his upcoming, and brief, Branson visit, and everyone is super excited!  Carter will be one of the most noted headliners at the Branson Music Festival, a.k.a. Branson Music Fest ‘19, taking place April 26 and 27 at the Welk Resort. Nathan Carter has already scheduled a short run at the Grand Shanghai Theatre in late 2018 -  Wednesday, November 14 through Saturday, November 17 at 8:00 p.m., and Monday, November 19 at 3:00 p.m., but that’s certainly not enough Branson dates, especially for his huge list of loyal fans.

Nathan Carter’s two scheduled Branson runs are relatively close together, but far enough apart that fans can come for the Christmas season in November to catch Nathan at the Grand Shanghai, then return in late April for the big Branson Music Festival, a huge event that also hosts a long list of other unforgettable headliners.  The Festival welcomes the likes of Jim Stafford, the hilarious singer and incredible guitarist who gave us hits like “Spiders & Snakes” and “Wildwood Weed;” The Haygoods, the high-energy show that’s one of Branson’s favorite acts; Clay Cooper, the long-running entertainer who could easily go by the title of Mr. Branson; Million Dollar Quartet, the show that recreates a nearly forgotten, brief moment in music history when Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins shared a Memphis recording session; and the world-famous Oak Ridge Boys, the legendary country act that won us over with chart-toppers like “Elvira” and “Bobbie Sue.”  In addition to phenomenal music, the Festival will also host big magic acts, opportunities to shop and dine, and a storytelling component that features recreations of historical figures of Branson and the Ozarks, including Jim Owen, a noted proponent of Branson tourism, the town’s namesake - Ruben Branson, and the creator of the Kewpie doll, Rose O'Neill, a fascinating illustrator, painter, sculptor, and author who loved the Ozarks, and was an early champion of women’s rights. With all of these exciting things taking place, most especially the highly-anticipated appearance of Nathan Carter, the Branson Music Festival shouldn’t be missed!

Nathan Carter burst onto the music scene in 2012 when he recorded the country classic, “Wagon Wheel;” his version was an enormous hit in Ireland, where he took the burgeoning music genre known as Country & Irish to a whole new level of huge!  The Decca Records recording artist, along with his sensational Super Six-Piece Band, has been blessed with four #1 albums - “Beautiful Life,” “Where I Wanna Be,” “Livin’ the Life,” and “Stayin’ Up All Night.” Other popular songs in Carter’s catalogue of recordings include “Caledonia,” “Good Morning Beautiful,” “Wanna Dance,” “Boat to Liverpool,” and “Home to Donegal.”

Make plans to be here in November for one of Nathan Carter’s five performances at the Grand Shanghai Theatre, the venue that’s also Mickey Gilley’s performance home while in Branson, then come back in late April of 2019 and catch the incredible Irish country artist at the Branson Music Festival - we’re as jazzed about Nathan Carter as you are, so we’ll see you there!
