Branson loves music, there’s no doubt about it...music of nearly every genre, era, and taste can be found at the dozens of live entertainment venues that pepper the beautiful Ozarks landscape. But there’s one sound that started it all...that put this friendly, fascinating, patriotic, and just plain fun destination on the travel map for millions of guests who visit here year after year, and that’s music with a little bit of twang, a healthy dose of storytelling, just a dash of swagger, and a whole lotta heart - country music! It’s the music that was born in this country - the music that covers decades, plays around a little with other genres, and touches something in the soul that keeps it alive and kickin’, especially here in Branson! So, where should you go to get your fill of your favorite songs? Here are some of the best shows Branson has to offer; some are all about country, while others include country along with a nice variety of pop, both contemporary and oldies, as well as other genres, from Broadway to Motown, as well as the kissin’ cousins of country, like bluegrass and gospel.
