If you know Branson, you know that it’s home to lots of great variety shows - those that offer a variety of music and other entertainment in one production. Now, in this post, we’re going to share some helpful information on a “variety” of shows, and we’ve made it easy by letting you know about six different shows you can find in just two venues! First up, a nice theater on the Strip - also known as Highway 76 - that has five different shows on the marquee (we’ll talk about four and leave the Christmas show for a future post,) and a long-standing theater in Branson’s growing Shepherd of the Hills District that offers two great shows. (If you love variety within one show, check out this post: “Branson “Pops” with Musical “Variety!” If a great tribute is your kind of show, then this post is for you: “When Branson Missouri Pays Tribute, Everyone Pays Attention!”)

Well, Branson has welcomed him back, so to speak...at least his memorable music that can still melt the coldest of hearts - songs like the chart-topping, “Strangers in the Night,” as well as “That’s Life,” “Love and Marriage,” “New York, New York,” Sinatra’s signature song, “My Way,” and the #1 hit “Somethin’ Stupid,” recorded with daughter, Nancy. And you won’t just hear Frank’s hits, you’ll get the unforgettable music made famous by some of his contemporaries, as well as fun film footage!

And here’s what the Pierce Arrow Theatre has in store for you:
Pierce Arrow Gold: Hot live music...hot comedy...one hot show! Pierce Arrow’s been one of Branson’s most popular shows for years, and they’ve amped up the excitement for their red-hot “Gold” show! Founder and show-runner, Dan Britton, has assembled a stellar cast of vocalists - Travis Spratt, singing lead, Scott Fraker, baritone, and Tony Turner, the foursome’s tenor - with Britton holding down the low notes - quite literally, he’s held the Guiness record for singing the lowest note! The show’s comic relief is delivered by the irrepressible sense of humor of James Sibley - he’s got an impressive resume that includes writing for Saturday Night Live, and appearing on hit TV comedys, like My Name is Earl. And fantastic music keeps this show atop the heap, including classic rock hits, popular country songs, patriotic numbers, and gospel greats.
General Schedule: Most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from April through November (and some Saturdays in December) at 8:00 p.m. They also have shows outside the usual schedule on May 26, November 10, and December 4. Their show on New Year's Eve begins at 9 p.m.
Pierce Arrow Presents Decades: The incomparable cast of Pierce Arrow takes us back to some of music’s greatest “Decades” with your favorites from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. You’ll enjoy everything from beautiful ballads to the hot hits of 80s hair bands...from early rock ‘n’ roll standards to the head-bangin’ fun of classic rock...from those satisfying soul sounds to dance-ready disco - you’ll find yourself wondering when you’ve ever had this much fun! And the excitement doesn’t stop at great music, resident laugh machine, James Sibley, pops up to make sure your funny bone is still in fine working order! Nobody works harder to give you the live entertainment time of your life than the talented Pierce Arrow quartet, and their new Decades show offers them a new outlet for singing their hearts out, and letting you laugh yourself silly with Sibley!
