You’ll find ziplines in many popular U.S. destinations these days, and even here in Branson, Missouri, we have a nice variety of zipline attractions -- but for the most comprehensive collection of experiences, there’s nothing quite like Wolfe Mountain! This beautiful landscape in the Ozarks, found just a few minutes north of Branson, is home to Branson Zipline at Wolfe Mountain - it’s a name that’s a bit deceiving, because this wonderful complex is home to more than a single zipline canopy tour, it’s packed with adventures just waiting for you and your family!
What all Branson Zipline tours have in common is helpful instruction prior to your adventure, all the necessary gear, experienced guides who have your enjoyment and safety as their top priorities, and a fun ride to your tour’s starting point in an authentic Pinzgauer Swiss Army Troop vehicle. The instruction is conducted by an experienced guide, one who has been accredited by the Association for Challenge Course Technology, and it takes only ten minutes or so. And good news for anyone who isn’t keen on zipping, or who maybe has health issues that prevent them from joining the group, Branson Zipline offers an optional Walking Tour.
If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, but your time is limited, Branson Zipline’s Blue Streak Fast Line & FreeFall Xpress is custom-made for you! You’ll fly along a quarter-mile line from a mountaintop in Wolfe Creek Preserve, and make a free-fall dismount from the highest tower - that’s a 100-foot-tall platform. You can watch each person in your party zip onto the platform, then the guide will make sure everyone’s gear is ready and help get you attached to the drop cables. After the guide has you prepared, all that remains is for you to simply step off into midair! It’s as exciting as it sounds! The 100-foot FreeFall Xpress is the first of its kind in North America.
Branson Zipline’s Ozarks Xplorer Canopy Tour provides about a two-hour eco-adventure, perfect for anyone who wants to get the most out of ziplining on Wolfe Mountain. This incredible experience includes a total of seven ziplines and ten suspension bridge crossings. The Flying Prospector Canopy Tour is perfect for families - it’s not quite as time-intensive, taking about an hour-and-a-half to complete. It includes four ziplines and seven suspension sky bridges. And Branson Zipline doesn’t limit the fun to zipping, they offer a slip-sliding blast with their Snowflex Tubing! It’s winter fun in the sun on this 400 by 60-foot slide that handles up to six tubes at the same time, and little ones can join you in a tandem tube.
For anyone who can’t decide between the Xplore Canopy Tour and the Blue Streak Fast Line, you can get both with the Adventure Combo. Same goes for folks who want to zip and slide; just get Branson Zipline’s Avalanche Zipline Tour. In addition to all the high energy excitement, you can visit Wolfe Creek Station, a themed retail shop where you’ll find logo merchandise, special items like handmade Amish crafts and canned goods, home decor, and more unique offerings.
