Silver Dollar City in 2019 - What’s New at Branson’s Biggest Attraction!

It’s going to be The Year of Shows & Festivals at Silver Dollar City in 2019!  With Branson being the home of live entertainment, it’s perfectly fitting that the area’s only world famous, multi-award-winning theme park would build an entire year around live shows, as well as what Silver Dollar City does better than anyone else anywhere - deliver unforgettable festivals!

In 2019, guests can expect to enjoy everything from a brand new million-dollar stage production - “Reuben’s Swashbuckling Adventure” - to pumpkins full of fun in the fall.  That’s right, a fanciful new festival headed our way brings along a whole bunch of pumpkins...the Harvest Festival features Craft Days and Pumpkin Nights, and oh what a celebration each day will be!  Who doesn’t love pumpkins? Whether it’s pumpkin-spiced drinks, or happy-faced jack-o’-lanterns everywhere you turn, you’ll be delighted when they take over the park in this fun and family-friendly festival.  In true Silver Dollar City fashion, these will be the happiest of carved and animated pumpkins - nothing to scare the little ones, and everything to enchant the entire family! Fall also welcomes the debut of a music, dance, and acrobatics show; it’s a high-energy French-Canadian production featuring dancing lumberjacks that’s certain to amp up the park’s live entertainment scene. The Harvest Festival, along with its crafts and pumpkins, descends on the park from September 25 through October 26, with special evening hours to further enjoy the illuminated pumpkins and all those thrilling rides, including Time Traveler, Outlaw Run, Wildfire, and the list goes on!

Of course, the excitement goes way beyond swashbuckling, crafts, lumberjacks, and pumpkins...Silver Dollar City’s seasonal kick-off returns - The Festival of Wonder - and brings with it astounding acts like Phoenix Fire, CirqUnique, Harp Extreme, and more - this festival favorite returns April 10 through April 28.  Beginning May 2 and running through May 27, the new Bluegrass Nights Concerts in Echo Hollow feature 24 special performances, answering music lover’s requests for more shows in the evening. And, speaking of music, the Summer Concert Series is back by popular demand, bringing big act blasts from the past - the 60s, 70s, and 80s - from May 31 through June 2, and from June 7 through June 9.  In addition to Reuben’s Swashbuckling Adventure, the ever-popular Star Spangled Summer festival gives us Kid Magic, starring the very young, but oh so talented, Kadan Bart Rockett & Brooklyn - their act dazzled audiences and judges alike on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent. Star Spangled Summer will be captivating the warm-weather season from June 8 through July 2. And we can’t forget the popular Moonlight Madness - it keeps the park open later from July 20 through August 4, giving happy guests more than 12 hours each day to enjoy the excitement and thrills of 40-plus rides and attractions!

Silver Dollar City keeps Southern Gospel in the line-up for 2019 with All Day and Into the Night concerts by big name acts -- appearing from August 22 through September 2, you’ll hear from Grammy, Dove, and Singing News award-winning gospel music entertainers.  Following all that glorious gospel, you’ll be delighted when 13 days of back-to-back country acts appear on park stages throughout the day, in addition to Saturday Night Celebrity Concerts that take over Echo Hollow in the evening. The amazing country music magic takes over from September 6 through September 22.  And it wouldn’t be a Silver Dollar City annual celebration without their Grand Finale festival, An Old Time Christmas - you’ll be dazzled as the happiest of holidays blankets the park with more than 6.5 million twinkling lights! This fanciful festival also welcomes more music shows, full-blown live stage productions of Christmas classics, the epic five-story special effects Christmas tree-to-beat-all-Christmas-trees, Christmas in Midtown, and more.  An Old Time Christmas fills the park from November 2 through December 30, and if you’ve never seen an already gorgeous theme park taken up a few brilliant notches during the holiday season, then you’ve been missing out on the prettiest Christmas there is!

Every new year at Silver Dollar City brings something exciting, keeping this 1880s theme park on everyone’s every-year list of places to go!
