Listed in alpha order, Branson invites you to experience these eleven phenomenal golf courses:

1.  Branson Hills: Voted Missouri’s top course from 2012 to 2018, this delightfully challenging course offers 18-holes and a par 72 experience, and features an exquisitely beautiful landscape.  Located in a popular retail and residential district, Branson Hills continues to be favored by locals and guests alike.

3.  Don Gardner Par 3:  This small par 68 course is operated by the City of Branson and provides a fun outing for any golfer looking for a quick game. It features 9-holes and enjoys a convenient Lake Taneycomo location just a minute from Historic Downtown Branson and right off Highway 65.

Location:  201 Compton Drive - just off Branson Landing Boulevard - Branson

Nearby Dining:  Black Oak Grill - Cantina Laredo - Garfield’s - Famous Dave’s BBQ - Joe’s Crab Shack - Qdoba - Jimmy John’s and other familiar names at Branson Landing - unique to Branson are Waxy O’Shea’s Irish Pub (way better than typical bar food) and White River Fish House (literally on the lake.)

4.  Holiday Hills:  The first course built in Branson, it’s been well-maintained and renovated in recent years. It’s a par 68, 18-hole course that can be found in the Holiday Hills Resort at Cross Creek in the area above Branson known as Mt. Branson.

Location: 2380 East Highway 76 - Branson

Nearby Dining:  Pizza World (in the Cross Creek plaza) - Beverly’s Steakhouse & Saloon (a local “hangout” favorite and known for good steak)

5.  LedgeStone:  LedgeStone enjoys the gorgeous surroundings of Stonebridge Village and is the closest golf to Silver Dollar City and Indian Point. The 18 hole Par 71 offers one of Branson’s most interesting games, including deceptive holes that can look easier than they might turn out to be!

Location: 1600 LedgeStone Way, Branson West - just minutes from Branson, and less than a mile from Silver Dollar City.

Nearby Dining:  Billygail’s Cafe (note: bring cash, they don’t accept cards of any kind - homestyle cooking with big servings)

6.  Mountain Top:  Another brilliant golf course from Johnny Morris, one of several in Branson Creek and nearby Top of the Rock, this Gary Player-designed masterpiece offers a par 39, 13-hole game, ideal when you have limited time to play, but still want to tackle more than 9 holes.

Location: 100 Branson Creek Boulevard - Hollister

Nearby Dining:   (See Buffalo Ridge Springs)

7. Ozarks National:  Also launched by Johnny Morris and located in lovely Branson Creek, this Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw-designed course offers 18 holes, and some of the area’s most unique features, like a 400-foot wood beam/plank bridge that reaches a height of 60 feet above a creek to get golfers to the 13th fairway.

Location:  1250 Golf Club Drive - just off Branson Creek Boulevard - Hollister

Nearby Dining:   (See Buffalo Ridge Springs)

8.  Payne’s Valley:  TGR Design’s first public course is sure to be a huge success - even if the world’s most famous golfer’s name wasn’t attached - (Tiger Woods!)  The most recent effort from Johnny Morris, this fabulous course honors the late and beloved golf championship pro, Payne Stewart, a native of the area.

Location:  Branson Creek (opening anticipated for 2019 - no exact date available)

Nearby Dining:  (See Buffalo Ridge Springs)

9. Pointe Royale:  Located in a popular residential and resort area where many Branson entertainers have resided over the years, including the late crooner and movie star, Andy Williams, this par 70, 18-hole course remains a favorite of stars and discerning duffers alike!

Nearby Dining:  Danna’s Bar-B-Que & Burger Shop - Fall Creek Steak & Catfish House (both locally owned - locals will tell you to go to Danna’s)

10. Thousand Hills:  Conveniently located in the center of Branson just off The Strip, this 18-hole, par 64 is another favorite with local golfers - it’s been repeatedly voted “tops” by Springfield NewsLeader readers - and it’s been tagged with four stars by Golf Digest.

Location:  245 South Wildwood Drive - Branson

Nearby Dining:  It’s close to the Strip, so options are plentiful, but the nearest (and highly recommended) is Florentina’s Ristorante Italiano.

11. Top of the Rock:  A small, but plenty challenging, par 27, 9-hole course designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus. The last on our list from Johnny Morris, it’s well-loved for the game itself, but nearly outweighed by the majesty of Table Rock Lake’s most phenomenal views.

Location: 150 Top of the Rock Road - Hollister

Nearby Dining:  (See Buffalo Ridge Springs)

If you can’t find a golf experience that perfectly suits your fancy in Branson, then we can’t help you!  All kidding aside, golf is fast becoming one of the area’s biggest attractions, obviously with the help of Johnny Morris’ work to almost single-handedly turn Branson into a golfer’s paradise!  For true fans of the game, mark your calendar for the annual Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf, a PGA Tour Champions’ tournament that will enjoy it’s sixth year this coming April. The 2018 event brought out big names in golf, including Tom Watson, Gary Player, and Jack Nicklaus, as well as celebrity players like Mark Wahlberg and Kid Rock.
