Merry Christmas with Dino and Cheryl is bringing the magic of the holiday season to the Shepherd of the Hills! Dino Kartsonakis spent many years commanding the Branson stage, delivering incredible music to delighted audiences, especially charming everyone with his brilliant Christmas performances. It’s been thirty years since Dino’s first foray into the world of producing a popular Branson show, and his focus over the past few years has been outside the area, much to the chagrin of his huge and loyal fanbase comprised of both residents and visitors alike.
In addition to the many years Dino entertained in a variety of venues around the country, he’s been a headliner alongside the Rockettes in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the Grand Palace, he performed on a weekly television show and in specials for the Trinity Broadcast Network, as well as being tapped to host and perform for the Miss USA Pageant’s preliminary competition show. But there’s probably no other destination that embraces Dino’s music as wholeheartedly as Branson, Missouri, so his time here for the holiday season is easily one of the year’s most anticipated shows.
For his limited-engagement Christmas schedule, Dino, along with his beautiful and talented wife, Cheryl, will be performing at the historic Shepherd of the Hills Homestead & Adventure Park in the Playhouse Theatre. The iconic Homestead is a fitting destination to host a longtime Branson treasure; it also boasts other attractions, activities, and live performances that practically demand a return to this legendary piece of Branson history. The long list of other exciting features at Shepherd of the Hills includes the long-running production of The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama, the show that tells the tale found in Harold Bell Wright’s best-selling novel of the same name, as well as zipline canopy tours, ATV adventures, a ropes course, a children’s area called Lil’ Pete’s Playland, Inspiration Tower - one of the most striking images on the Ozarks’ skyline - and the Vigilante Extreme ZipRider, the unique zipline ride that launches from a platform near the top of the 230 foot Tower. In addition to Dino for the holidays, guests can enjoy one of Branson’s favorite and longest-running holiday drive-throughs, the Trail of Lights.
The Merry Christmas with Dino and Cheryl show will feature Dino playing Christmas favorites, as well as some of the greatest songs ever written. And the Playhouse offers the ideal atmosphere for enjoying the show because Dino excels at performing in more intimate venues that give audiences an up-close-and-personal experience. And nearly as thrilling as having the talented Dino Kartsonakis on stage is the stunning instrument he uses to share his talent, a million-dollar Austrian crystal piano. And Cheryl’s gorgeous voice singing beautiful holiday classics is the delightful icing on the Christmas cake! The show will run from November 5 through December 31 for lunch and dinner performances; the menu for both meals features a Parmesan Crusted Chicken entree and Dino’s famous Raspberry-Filled Pearl Cake Cupcakes for dessert. For anyone who knows Dino only as a musician and entertainer, you’ll be surprised to learn that he’s also an incredible baker - for many years, folks in Branson enjoyed his delicious baked goods, especially his famous carrot cake, at his restaurant and bakery, as well as other dining spots that kept his cakes on their dessert menu.
Dino’s return to the stage, especially during November and December, is a breath of fresh Christmas air that everyone will be breathing happily throughout the holiday season! Make your plans now to take advantage of this rare opportunity to witness one of Branson’s best Christmas shows while good seats are available - tickets won’t last long!
