It’s a beautiful May in Branson - great shows, fun attractions, all kinds of nice places to stay and, of course, all that delicious food!  We’re at edition #10 of our weekly series, “What We Love In Branson This Week,” and we’ve got good food on our minds - and in our bellies!

In this weekly series, we share information about shows, attractions, dining, and more - everything we’re sure you’ll love about Branson...check us out every Sunday to see what we’re lovin’ lately!

Here, in alphabetical order, is What We Love in Branson This Week:

Florentina's Ristorante Italiano:  With chef-crafted Italian recipes, Florentina’s has become a flavorful favorite with Branson locals and guests alike.

3 Things We Love About Florentina's Ristorante Italiano

1. Everyone loves Italian!  No restaurant chain quality food here, every dish is a delight!  Steak Florentina, Lasagne Giardino, and authentic brick-oven pizza is just a small sample of the fabulous eats.

2. The atmosphere!  Casual and comfortable, but with a nicely-appointed, upscale flair that’s ideal for dinner with a special loved one, or with the whole gang!

3. A great bar!  You can pair your dish with the perfect wine, or enjoy cocktails after dinner or any time - Florentina’s has a well-stocked bar on site.

Schedule this week:  Sunday, May 13 through Thursday, May 17: 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Friday, May 18 & Saturday, May 19: 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Location:  2690 Green Mountain Drive - just behind the Grand Village Shops and neighboring Thousand Hills Resort

Montana Mike’s Steakhouse:  Branson is well-known for steak - you’ll find it all over town, but the steak and other mouth-watering meats found at Montana Mike’s are a cut above!

3 Things We Love About Montana Mike’s Steakhouse

1. It’s all about the meat!  The Branson location of Montana Mike’s serves up incredible Center Cut Top Sirloin, Rancher’s T-Bone, and other popular cuts, all tender, juicy, and prepared just the way you love it!

2. And it’s more than meat!  Pasta Alfredo, Fried Catfish Filets, a variety of salads, and much more ensures that everyone in your lunch or dinner party will find something to suit their taste buds.

3. The location!  Ideally situated midway along Branson’s famous Strip, Montana Mike’s is next door to one of the area’s favorite attractions, the Titanic Museum, and right on property with an award-winning Best Western.

Schedule this week:  Sunday, May 13 through Thursday, May 17: 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Friday, May 18 & Saturday, May 19: 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Location:  3225 West Highway 76 (also known as Country Music Boulevard, or simply “The Strip”) right in front of Best Western Center Pointe Inn and across from Clay Cooper’s theater.

Outback Steak & Oyster Bar:  A popular dining and hang-out spot in Branson for decades, the Outback continues to build its fanbase by serving incredible food in a fun Aussie atmosphere!

3 Things We Love About Outback Steak & Oyster Bar

1. It’s the only one!  Sometimes confused with the national chain, Outback Steakhouse, this Outback is an original -- steak, burgers, seafood, and more is served up daily with that famous Branson hospitality!

2. Unique dishes!  You’d be hard put to find dishes like these anywhere else in the area: Alligator Tail, Oysters Kilpatrick, and a Boomerang Burger - all memorably scrumptious!

3. A pretty setting!  Once you’ve pulled off The Strip, it feels like you’re in a scenic park somewhere - lots of mature trees and nice landscaping, and the feeling of being in the countryside carries right inside, where the rustic wood structure and lively Australian decor makes for an unforgettable dining experience!

Schedule this week:  Sunday, May 13 through Thursday, May 17: 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. - Friday, May 18 & Saturday, May 19: 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Location:  1914 West Highway 76 (also known as Country Music Boulevard, or simply “The Strip”) and right across the street from Grand Country Resort. (Right next door you’ll find one of our ticket outlets - stop in and get a great deal, and great seats, for all the best shows in town!)

Shorty Small's:  With just three regional locations, Branson might be your first time experiencing Shorty Small’s, a great place for burgers and steaks, but most popular for finger-licken’ barbecue!

3 Things We Love About Shorty Small’s

1. Appetizing Appetizers!  Meal starters like Shorty’s Famous Onion Loaf, Chicken Livers, and Macho Nachos are more than tasty, they’re served in generous portions - make sure you save room for your entree!

2. Menu variety!  Fresh salads and savory soups, house favorites that include Chicken Pot Pie, Edna’s Pot Roast, combo meals, meats like the Shorty’s Sirloin and their Original World Famous Ribs, and satisfying desserts - you’ll need to return time and again to try everything!

3. A great hang!  With an ample bar and upbeat atmosphere, Shorty’s is a fun spot to hang out with friends over eats and adult drinks, and it’s conveniently located right on The Strip, next door to Andy Williams Performing Arts Center & Theatre and the Radisson Hotel.

Schedule this week:  Sunday, May 13 through Thursday, May 17: 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. - Friday, May 18 & Saturday, May 19: 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Location:  2600 West Highway 76 (also known as Country Music Boulevard, or simply “The Strip”)
