The magic of Dino Kartsonakis on the piano has kept audiences enchanted for more than 30 years, so his return to Branson to headline a Christmas show at the Shepherd of the Hills is one of the year’s most anticipated events. The show will feature Dino playing Christmas favorites, as well as some of the greatest songs ever written, accompanied by the lovely voice of Cheryl.
The Petersen Family Bluegrass Band features the sensational family that helped put bluegrass music on the Branson map! Some of the artists covered by the Petersens include Bill Monroe, Doyle Lawson, Alison Krauss, and Branson favorite, Rhonda Vincent. A Sanders Family Christmas may just be Branson’s most heartwarming and hilarious production! The Sanders Family, along with their church pastor, find themselves charged with lifting the spirits of their faithful Mount Pleasant Baptist Church congregation following the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941. Their mission is made all the more challenging by the departure of their son as he prepares to go off to war. This sweet, touching, and funny story hits all the right notes for the holidays.

One of the very best ways to enjoy Christmas in Branson is through one of the many festivals and special events that take place from November 1 through December 31. That’s right - it’s a glorious season, so we start celebrating early and we keep going until it’s time for the fireworks to blast us into the new year!
If you do nothing else in Branson at Christmas time, you must see the Trail of Lights at the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead! Branson's longest-running Christmas light display is still its' best! As you wind your way through the 160 acre homestead, you'll travel through a variety of themed lands and settings. The Trail showcases animated figures set to Christmas music that's sure to get you into the spirit of the holiday!
What better place to celebrate the holidays than at Silver Dollar City's "An Old Time Christmas" festival"? Listed as a top 5 Holiday event in the country by Good Morning America. There are more than 5 million sparkling lights, 1,000 ornamented Christmas Trees, Rudolph's Holly Jolly Christmas light Parade, lots of holiday treats and more. There are also Broadway like productions and a massive 5-story special effects Christmas tree. Weather permitting, there are a variety of attractions and rides during the day and lots of Christmas shopping opportunities.
For nearly 70 years, Branson has held a non-commercial parade to honor the true reason for the season. Filled with floats, marching bands, and more, the parade is free of advertising and all entries are Christmas-themed. The annual parade kicks off with the lighting of the mountainside adoration scene that overlooks Historic Downtown Branson. The 28-foot-tall nativity is a tradition that’s near and dear to locals and visitors alike, and it’s displayed on Mt. Branson throughout the month of December.
